Ph.D. Student Hao Tian Wins Two Awards at ICC 2025

Congratulation to our Ph.D. student Hao Tian on receiving two prestigious awards at the International Cartographic Conference (ICC) 2025 in Vancouver, Canada. He won both the CaGIS International Conference Grant for Early Career Scholars and the International Cartographic Association (ICA) Scholarship!!!


These awards recognize Hao’s outstanding research and potential as an emerging scholar in cartography and GIScience studies. His work integrates social and seismic sensing to better understand human–environment interactions and enhance resilience in the face of climate extremes and urban challenges. Way to go, Hao!
