New TiCER Pilot Project Led by Dr. Heng Cai

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Heng Cai has been awarded funding from the Texas A&M Center for Environmental Health Research (TiCER) Pilot Project Program, supported by a sub-award from the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences!.


The funded project, “Integrating Large-Scale Geospatial Data and Community-Based Approach to Assess the Mental Health Impacts of Healthcare Inaccessibility During Climate Disasters,” is led by Dr. Heng Cai as PI, together with Co-PIs Dr. Fik Winata (Department of Geography) and Dr. Ping Ma (School of Public Health). This collaboration underscores the Lab’s commitment to advancing interdisciplinary research for healthier and more resilient communities.
