We are pleased to share that Dr. Heng Cai, director of the GIResilience Lab, received a Rapid Research Award from the Public Health, Equity, and Environmental Resilience (PHEER) Network.


The PHEER Network, funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) in partnership with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), brings together a community of researchers, practitioners, and policymakers dedicated to understanding and mitigating the public health impacts of extreme events such as hurricanes, wildfires, and floods.
