Dr. Heng Cai Presented at the International Climate Resilience Conference 2025 in Munich

Dr. Heng Cai recently participated in the International Climate Resilience Conference (iCARE 2025) held at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU) from October 26–29, 2025. The conference brings together leading scholars, practitioners, policymakers and community stakeholders to shift the narrative from risk‐focused to resilience‐oriented thinking. With 17 thematic sessions and over 200 presentations, iCARE offers a major platform for sharing research and fostering collaborations in climate resilience.


The conference fostered engaging dialogue on bridging science and policy to tackle climate-related challenges. Dr. Cai’s contribution underscored the growing importance of geospatial and human-centered analytics in supporting equitable and sustainable resilience planning.
